Play.com orders for pes

Has anyone ordered pes2008 from play.com?
i thought i might aswell as it does look like its selling early, what is everyones status on it. i ordered mine about 20 mins ago and its on order placed. whats your on?

I order it a loooong time ago, at www.bol.com, that's a Dutch website. It's way better to order it, you don't have to go all the way to a shop, AND you don't have the risk to it being sold out.
So ordering is best all the way...

None of them will move prior to Monday at the very earliest but Tuesday at the likeliest. If they post it on Monday as they did for me with FM 2008, consider yourself extremely lucky. Usually they'll post such that you receive it on the day of release, copies permitting.

I'm still undecided whether to buy it from Play.com

I ordered a USB stick 2 weeks back and it was 'in stock' but it still took 5 days from placing the order (at about 10:00 in morning) to arrive.

Now that could easily be because I'm up in scotland, but even so, i'm gonna get it from shop on friday morning i reckon.

i pre-ordered family guy and got it one day after release, which wasnt so bad because thats when the postal strikes where in full. but now i think its safer to get it now, just wondering if play are selling it early, maybe due to some other company breaking the release date.

tihs only applies to the console versions and not the pc version as it still says pre-order on the play website.

if there is loads for one area royal mail wont deliver them all on the same day.when crappy new harry potter book came out each walk only had to take 4 of them.i dont know exactly how they knew what was inside like.....

its in gernesey or somehwere like that so they get copies very early inorder to get them to you on the day of release. normaly we get them a day early tho but oh well

I pre-ordered mine off www.gameplay.co.uk, and the despatch date is 24/10/2007 - 25/10/2007, it said ill hav it on day of release

I remember once i ordered PES4 of Play.com and i got it 2 days before official release. I'm sure it will happen to some of you guys, good luck though .

Yep - hopefully they'll deliver the goods on Friday.

Their website states this for all pre-orders..."Despatched in time for delivery on release day."

They delivered Madden 08 to me on the Friday - despatched on the Tuesday or Wednesday I think.

i always order from gameplay.com, their warehouse is based in england unlike play.com, and every time i place pre order at gameplay.com i recieve on the day before so hopefully it will be on my doorstep thursday morning.

the only reason i am reluctant to order from play is because they are based in jersey and you can't always be sureit will get here on time

play.com is normally really good but the only bad thing this year is the postal strikes
