Hi
I have a question regarding player roles. If you make a player a CMF when he is actually only an AMF, does it effect his play? I recently read a thread where people recommended changing RBs and LBs into CBs to stop them running too far down the flanks, but wouldn't this sort of action have a side-effect on players who's newly given roles are not listed in their personal 'position' settings? I understand that their abilities make all the difference and will determine how they perform, and the obvious no-go's such as changing a CB to a CF (he would find it hard to score), and changing a CF to a CB (he would find it hard to defend). But I wondered if it's scripted in the game that any player attached to a role that is not indicated in their personal position settings, will be badly effected. Either it all just comes down to the abilities of an individual (Hopefully) or there is a scripted 'side-effect' for playing them out of position, or both. Any help is appreciated.
