Playing 532 against 433

I always play with Italy and I only face problems against 433 formations. I've tried different combinations of 442 and 433 but without success. I always concede more than I score. I read in some topics that 532 is effective against 433 strategies. I haven't tried it yet but I need more elaboration on the tactics (ie: arrows, positioning of midfielders, etc...) as I also don't wish to play a full defensive match.

Also I'm not comfortable having more than one formation and changing them during the course of play, so I need a very balanced 532.

Why don't you just play 433 against 433? 443 is one of the best systems in the world, because you can make triangles between all players (gives you always many options to pass the ball to another player).. Just play it according to the good old Dutch school :)

for a good solid 5-3-2 set your formation like this

CF
SS

AM AM

DM

LWB RWB

CB CB CB

Set the center back in the middle's attackin arrows in a upside down V as it were and then just put the two other centerBacks arrows facing backwards
The wing backs attackin arrows want to be forward and backward and the DM arrows also in a upside down V like the center half
Your attackin midfielders arrows want to go forwards and diagonly to the wing
Set your SS arrows forwards and backwards and put for CF's in a V shape

the formation is quite attackin but works well against a 4-3-3 as your center backs and DM take out the 3 opposition forwards and their attackin midfielder hope it helps

The problem is that whatever formation I use, I can't seem to stop the opposition's wingers (+ the new great tweak in WE10 of giving advantage to attackers :angry: ). I get knackered on normal attacking and on counter attacks.
