Playing WE7 on a HDTV Wide screen!!!!!!!!

Dos we7 support HDTV widescreen, it looks realy bad on mine???????? i know you can change the settings in the ps2 startup, but it dos not really make a difference on my tv! is there something i don't know about hooking the system up?????

Well, I don`t know why are you having those problems..tv is a tv..except HDTV is more expensive. Check the cables again.

Won't work mate, won't work!
HDTV and normal TV work differently, something like computer monitor and TV!

It will look ugly as it does. Better hook it up on some Progressive scan flatron TV.

Only XBOX has HDTV support and only American version supports HDTV!(unless you modify it)!

well i have a samsung 47" HDTV with progressive scan, and i live in canada. what do you mean by only the american one supports HDTV??/ is there a patch that i could put on to make it HDTV widescreen compatible????

Since you are fromCanada, I think you have the same version!
You should have HDTV option in your menu. However you have to by HDTV kit and then hook it up.
You can choose b/w 3 resolutions.
480 which is standard 640x480
720 which is 1280x720
and
1080 which is 1920x1080 and looks AMAZING in games that support it.
No reason why you should't use the advantage of possessing HDTV

PAL version of XBOX doesn't support HDTV but if you mod chip it then HDTV option is "unlocked"!!!

My parents have (Zenith) wide-screen tv, I tried playing it once or twice and the speed was normal.. It`s just that the screen is alot bigger so you assume that the gameplay is faster as well when players run.

Yap, Eskol is right, it's perception! Speed can't be different on one TV than another. The clock is always the same, and that's what "generates" speed of the game.
