Hi, I just bought PES for the first time in a few years and first time on a new console. Back in the PS2 days, when it came to option files I would simply mail a memory card to a friend I met on a forum and he would download the file and mail it back to me all ready to go.

You see, I'm computer illiterate. I can NEVER get anything to work on a computer beyond surfing the net and sending out email. I look at these option file instructions and they read like chinese to me. Same with patches. I've never owned a USB stick in my life and wouldn't know what to do with one if I did.

So, my question is, is there anyone here who I could mail a USB stick to and a self addressed envelope and they could download all the option files and patches I need for the XBOX version and then send it back to me good to go?

And would it be that easy? If someone sent me a USB stick with everything on it how hard is it to get it work? Do I need a PhD in computers to get that going?

And what is this stuff I read about knowing your region code? How do I find that out and once I do what do I do with that info?


Please help because it seems that this game is pretty unplayable without these patches and option files. I'm having trouble playing ML because of the transfer fees and I was told that the patch fixes that.

Its a lot harder now compared to PS2 days. Look at the side of your game for the version eg mine is bles 01020 ( UK PS3) . Once you know the code simply look for optionfiles for that code.

Getting a usb sent to you wont save much hassle as you have to copy/paste the strips and emblems . Its monotonous and time consuming rather than difficult.

Ill look for a good guide for xbox 360 option files and post it for you in a minute.

Yip as Stott says below Daymos is the man to see, you can also buy the file on usb off him . Heres his latest update.
