I'm going to buy a playstation because I'm fed up of playing this on a crappy pc ... so my question is

Using the ps2 max drive http://www.play.com/play247.asp?page=title&r=PS2&title=167036 can I save games like I would on a normal ps2 official memory card or is this to just download and update files.

Can I use this as a standard memory card? Cheers.

as far as i know the max drive is just for saving from the memery card to the pc, not straight on to it, so you would need the memory card.

Yeah you need the mem card to be in the PS2 but then you can transfer these onto the PC (to retrieve whenever you like) thus making your saving capacity limitless !!
