Please, NO Praising Players!!!

I Really need to know if anyone out there agrees with me in the fact that the new "praising players" feature is rubbish. I am just saying i absolutely hate the idea of more interaction with regards to players performing well and then you have to waste some time just telling them they did well. For christs sake, YOU control the players, not the AI so why would you have to praise them then?? Its like praising yourself for doing well which is a pathetic idea. Maybe in a management game where you have NO control over the players but not in PES. Its stupid and bordering on immature, it makes PES seem like a Tamagotchi, its such a chhildish idea and i guarantee it won't work. You shouldnt have to go after the match and click on the "praise player" button just to make them happy?! Its a REALLY bad idea, i think there could be more engagement i guess but not in this way, PES is a football game not a management game, leave that to FM and LMA.
Cheers

you kno nothing about this if you think its immature! say for example you baught gerrard for inter milan and he felt he didnt fit in you would need to gauntee him that he is dooing well now in the game i feel its a realistic feature that means even if you control him he wont be happy at first it just goes to show konami are thinking of the player rather than the controller.

if you played the game where nothing happens but you win the league wouldnt you be bored you need controversy and change to live the game other things need improved in the game if this is a feature i for one will accept it with open arms and you need something else to fill your little life to talk about..

Whats the point in adding something that doesn't do anything good for the game?! Just adding this feature will just turn into a chore, clicking on the "praise player" button every time you sign someone who the AI will randomly choose as an "Unhappy player". Personally, (as stated) i am not keen on the idea, it makes it seems like you have one of those pocket pet games where you have to play mini-games with them to make them happy, but too much and they will get bored, its EXACTLY like whats going to happen here.
Cheers

Just feel fortunate that the PES ML community (might as well call them that >_>) didn't get what they wanted this year, and that's an even more in-depth Master League.

If you're complaining over a small piece of player interaction this year, I shudder to think what you'll be thinking in 2010 if ML gets a big overhaul.

I agree with thread starter on this one, not the right thing to implement for Master League depth, will be totally randomised and could be a horrible feature.

however ML does require overhaul with new features implemented correctly and minimally (cant stress that one enuff).

Probably wont make much difference. Small addition like regulate squad feature which I used about TWICE! Wont effect the game as long as they get the major probelms such as online sorted.

ever thought it would effect the game?if they play well and dont get any recognition there form arrow will prolly go down, that does effect YOU as they wont be half as good in the next game. and no PES dont leave the management aspects to FM or LMA please please add more!if we could select better team preferences i would be happy, for example if i could set who doesnt run much but just plays a holding role, perfect for makelele whereas at the moment he would be up and down all the time, or the thing in attack could be riquelme, he barely moves, this way they would be doing what they actually do, and not charging around wasting stamina.

the more managerial tweaking we get the better!

Erm...I thought it was quite obvious I was saying I didn't care about the praising players thing, given that it was a post in a thread about that issue. If you see one about how much we care about life, though, give me a shout Baddar ;)

I agree with John4, i dont mind some changes (as things are bound to change and we cant hold on to old things forever), but only introduce them carefully, too much tweaking too early could be the un-doing of Master League. I like his idea but i just hate this praising players thing, but i'd love to see some more managerial stuff there, i am a tactician at heart ;-) . However, if PES start copying LMA or FM, there will only be 1 winner, the latter.
Let me know what you think, Cheers :)

Hey .. I THINK it 's a good to have that features because we're talking about the game as a WHOLE TEAM 11 players !!

That why it Winning Elven before now PES .

You play for the team not for yourself. So even that players do not like your team , then you have to accept and live with it . Control the team without him if you want or use that option which is Praising players. That why it a True Realistic game from the top to the bottom . THAT IS the point for this game . You either control the team or loserrrrrrrrrr

Well, most people are always saying how the ML needs improvements, so, one thing is that you don't like every improvement, but there are some, and they are not going to be loved by everyone.
