I posted a thread asking for WE7I roster patches HERE. It was closed, but I was never told why. Also, I STILL DO NOT KNOW WHERE TO GET A WE7I ROSTER PATCH.

I frequent alot of forums(anandtech, amdmb, macnn, head-fi, rage3d, driverheaven, hydrogenaudio, ipodlounge, lcdinfo, ddrmaniax, etc), and this is so far the poorest run and least helpful.

I do like the soccer games though :p

I also think the moderation here is poor, the bloody admins make complicated forum descriptions like "All complete files including Kits, Patches and Balls should be submitted here. No work in progress discussion!" and expect people to understand them. Tssss...

the forum organization is horrible. forum descriptions are indeed confusing. the posters don't seem very intelligent.. also, i asked an easy question, as did somebody else in a different category, and neither of us got an answer.

Putting these two things together, do you still believe the moderation of this forum to be poor? Or were the moderators infact only doing their job by closing a thread which was posted in the wrong place. Perhaps if you went to the right place... the PC Editing Section, you may well then get an answer.

i wasn't sure where to post. the category organization and descriptions suck. Also, THIS thread was already in that category and did not have the roster patch, so I tried a different category.

obviously kelesh hasnt got a clue what hes talkin about, and larsson seems to be trying to go against all the mods EG: when i asked iff my account could be disabled Asher B sed im looking for attention, then GFK replied i agree, then larsson replied i dont, then some user question wht he didnt agree and we didnt get an answer

p.s. i just graduated from MIT, so i'm not an idiot. where did YOU go to school? punk

also, the moderator should have moved my thread to the correct catagory if it was in the wrong one.... OH WAIT, these forums suck :p

he has a point, if his thread was in the wrong catagory then it should have been moved not closed.

Yeah, but here at PESInsight the members are either intelligent enough to post in the right section, or have enough character about them to take the initiative and re-post in the correct place, as they have the intelligence to do that instead of complaining.

EDIT: With reference to it being closed - if the information is already available, then the mod is at liberty to close it. I can't imagine a mod closing it for no reason, from personal experience here. They also normally provide reasons - so this case sounds very odd.

An alternative may be to P.M one of the Moderators or Administrators & ask them for help, rather than posting the same questions over & over.
Wish I had a quid for every "how do I view the goal videos?" type post in the goal gallery :rolleyes:

Just to clarify the reason the thread was closed, I think, is because it was posted in a forum quite CLEARLY labelled not to have any discussion in it about general editing topics and only for File Downloads. Perhaps the correct course of action would of been to move it, however I am sure any mod would agree it can be quite annoying getting people posting in the wrong place. And, if, as you say, you browse many other forums you should know by now about finding the correct place to post a thread.

It´s a shame you´ll never get the chance to prove that you´re a much better mod ;)

stevie is right of course, the thread was not only closed because it was in the wrong place, it was also not necessary because all patches are in the "Files Downloads" subforum, which is quite obvious from the description, so there´s no need for asking where to find a patch, we´re closing and deleting all "which is the best patch" etc. threads for months now, if we didn´t we would have 10 of those threads on each page. Just use your brain smart-ass.

he has only posted 8 times on this site and they were all trying to get the same answer proberly, i agree that he should of PM one of the moderators but if he is new here and not to sure about the way things work (like posting in the wrong catagory) then shouldnt a moderator PM him, thats what a good moderator should do.
i agree with him, that it was a poor job from you guys, if you want people to register here or members to stay here then i suggest you be a bit more helping.

Come on, this is a forum, it ain´t rocket science.
With your post you only show that you absolutely don´t know what´s going on on this site, when you tell me that I should be "more helping" then I must really say that this is probably the most idiotic thing I´ve read on this forums. Maybe have a look in the editing or other forums before posting such bullshit, I have 2500 posts, of which 2000 were only about helping other people, my pm box is full with this stuff, still I´m replying to most pms. It´s the same with other Mods like GFK, Jag etc.
And please stop telling what a moderator should do and what not, it´s not your business. That´s the bottom line.
