Possible solution to the lack of licensed teams problem

First of all, sorry for the longest title thread ever.

I've been thinking lately that a vastly improved team creator could make up for some of the lack of licensed teams. Where you could make a good looking kit, logo, choose sponsors, manufacturer (Nike, Adidas etc.).

What do you guys think? Would this make up for some of lack of real teams?

I doubt we'll be able to "choose" logos, but from what I've heard we'll be able to create logos, sponsors and emblems again using an editor which will be decent. Everyone will praise this decision by Konami as excellent, but to be fair, it's nothing more than average as they should never have removed it in the first place. I do look forward to creating accurate team kits though, definetely.

80 kit templates.
16 boot slots.
Logo/sponsor/emblem editor.

16 boot slots and 80 kit templates is awesome. I guess we can get good looking kits.

I cant see this happening. Why would they take off the edit functions in 2008 and put them back in 2009. They clearly had to take them off due to Option Files issues that caused EA to moan to FIFIA that PES fans was producing accurate updates, therefore the license contract being pretty pointless.

I dont see it happening.

Or could of been as it was a completely new system they used. The PS2 version still had the edit function as PES6 as it was just new graphics put on it.

Possibly because PES2008 for the next gen consoles was a new build and it was rushed out, so they left out what they may have considered minor issues. Possibly.

Don't see what happening ?

80 kit templates is guaranteed, as is 16 editable boot slots. WENB has also stated their will be a logo editor etc like in previous PS2 versions.
