For me its half term nxt week! (17th - 27th) So if my PES3 arrives late, say monday, it will give me a chance to rid my self of all that homework!

In response to your message about the postal strikes, I'm a postman and rest assured there will be no strike on the 16th of October...I've ordered PES3 and I have no doubt that I'll be playing it on the day of release. As for calling posties fat retards, I think you're talking out your arse. :)

Mornin' postie!
I wonder old chap if you could tell us all a little bit about how Amazon.co.uk work with you?

Do they pay extra for priority deliveries? or something like that?

Do you have Amazon pakages lying around your post offices for days after getting em'?..........my god I hope not!

How does it work?

Chris

I don't think they would sell out so soon i actually can't get it on the day it comes out because my pay check don't clear until after then.

so my mate said he would lend it me so i will go to game first thing friday morning and buy it.

I work for the post office as does some1 who has already told you that he does and I can confirm that there is no strikes anywhere in the uk for the 16th October 2006.

With regards to amazon.co.uk and royal mail they have a very good partnership and as i use amazon for my ps2 game pre-orders and my ps3 pre-order I can assure you that you will receive your copy on the 16th. I have actually received some items from amazon.co.uk the day before but this has not been the case all the time.

With regards to the supposed strike. If it is supposed to be happening I will know about 7days before hand as the union has to give 7days notice to royal mail. If it is nationwide you will all know because it will be on the national news a week beforehand.

I hope this has eased people's mind and if a strike does happen i will inform you in here and in which areas.

The last post was three years ago mate.
