Hi guys! I hope somebody can help me!I'm trying to start PES3, but on the first screen (the logos), some horizontal flashing lines appear and then the screen won't change, even if you hear the music and the presentation! What's going on? I have a Nvidia Gforce 4 MX 440. I have tried all the different settings with no luck! Thanks very much for your help.

hi there, I was looking at this forum for some help on the exact same problem as this, the screen just flashes on the opening screen, i can hear the sound but the logo screen continues to flash without changing. Can anyone offer some help.

tried the latest drivers?? i have geforce 2, i downloaded the latest drivers i had this prob, when i switched back to the older drivers it worked fine, so if these were the new drivers switch back to the older ones, old drivers try to update them know what i mean?

i also have a Nvidia g/card 256mb 5600 the drivers im running it on are 56.56 and it runs fine on all res no slowdown etc so try them drivers m8 :D

paddy you r card is way better than a gforce 440

i have a gforce 440 and this is what i did

still runs crap as the graphics card is just not good enough for pes you need a better 1

1.install the game
2.update to konami official patch 1.3
3.then install the wolf patch (but dont use the .exe)
4.then install the newest collor patch
5.then use the no cd crack from www.gamecopyworld.com
6. play it

if you are not using the wolf patch skip steps 3and4

this just makes the game play at least playable but it still is slow when the are a lot of people in shot and fast when there is onnly 1 in shot

i know mines a better card m8 but i was just saying get the 56.56 drivers for yours i also have a mx440 in my kids comp and it runs nearly every game ive got dc mohaa etc but theres also a lot of games it wont run but hey its a old card :)

yeah its wired coz my mx440 runs all the games i have tried like toca 2,battlefield and plays them well but pro evo it just doesnt like for some reason

delete the 'intro.big' file out of your install directory, i think thats the name...well it has intro in the name.

remove that, problem solved.

Green And Black Pitch???

Cheers Gedo, I installed the latest drivers and what do you know!! running fine, although one problem has persisted. The colours of most of the pitches are a green and black shade, which means playing in the man utd away kit is a nightmare... has anyone heard of this/???
