i have transferred the pro evo 5 option file onto cd.it loads up and extracts. But when i load up pro evo 5 it says the memory file is corrupted...ive done it twice with both the xport and maxdrive files....any 1 else have this problem.I have used this technique before with pro evo 4 and no problems.Note i also never put dummy file onto the cd.....any help appreciated

Why are you transferring either the x-port or the max drive to cd? The PS2 cannot read option files like this. If you don't have these devices you need to follow the CD2mem method and burn the bin+cue version of the option file onto cd.

Apologies,i did follow the technique to convert the xport files to bin/cue(should ahve stated that above)

the grey m,enu comes up,i press r1,then x then triangle to extrac. It says it was extracted but when i load up pro evo 5 it says option file corrupted. When i go into the ps2 browser the xoprt memory pro evo5 file is there, but there is also another memory item of 3kb called corrupted data.

What is the likelihood it is the type of disc i am using??

Has anybody successfully extracted the option file from a cd,after following the cd2mem method?
