Got this game the other day and can't speak (or type) highly enough of it.

I know this may be old news for a lot of you, as its been out for what - over a year now.

It has to be the best racing game I've played.

Brilliant range of cars, tracks (real locations), great presentation and superb graphics (amazing attention to detail). Its not a game thats going to take 5 minutes to complete, so many things to do - The kudos points system is very rewarding. Although its early days, the lifespan looks like being limitless.

Not to mention X-Box live where you can not only race others but the single player can be coincided with online to compare your scores/times against others. Weekly online challenges too.

Also, the ability to walk around your garage and have a gander at your cars is a very nice inclusion.

I'm now thinking that Gran Turismo 4 will have to be very special to beat this.

And all for just £12.99 - part of the Xbox classics range. :cool:

great price for a very good game. I personally wa sslightly dissapointed by it though. gameplay is great as ever, but having played the original (Metropolis Street Racing on DC) i was dissapointed that the cities didnt have multiple areas/zones, some cities are just plain boring (Barcelona), there STILL arent any people around on the streets, the radio is a bitch to control while driving, I HATE the fact that all the drivers wear helmets, and I am VERY dissapointed that the real-time element (when it's night in REAL TOKYO TIME, It was Night in the game when u drove around Tokyo) that was so great in the original, wasn't in the sequel (I think). Pretty lame music as well.

Still a really REALLY good game though. :) Great value for money
I know I'm pretty negative in this post, but the most important aspects in any game are so well done in this, that I still rate this game highly.... even though it could have been (much) better if it didnt have these flaws.

Great game, lot of variety with cone challenges, straight races, overtaking challenges etc. Even better the fact you can drive while listen to your own cd's in the car. Don't play it that often though, don't play many of my Xbox games often at all and that includes both Halos!!
