this has probably been asked beforebut never mind. On master league whenever i have signed a promising player and spent time improving them, although only a little, after some time they just stop being promising players and you can 't improve them any more. Do you have to actually play them in your team, because i don't and i only ever get 10 points at a time when i win to improve them with. thanks if anyone can help

Yes, this has been asked about before... You have to play them on your team! I know it sux but they will get 45-50 points or more if you play them on your team! Even if they're tired or have a bad form! Then you start giving them passing so they can play the ball and maybe get some assists and they will get even more points! Actually you can make them really good.. I tried it several times and every time i have great succes! Go for it..
