Promising players

How come my promising player is leveling up yet I have had him for about 3 games? Can somebody help me? Thanks.

Have you been playing him in games? If so, go to the team management screen and select "train promising players" from the menu. You can then add on any stat points which you have earned for that player.

Play him in every single game when training him even if he is knackered according to his stamina bar. Infact - make an increase in his stamina and Balance one of the first things you do. Who did you buy and what position does he play?

btw, anyone of u know when the raising of promising players end?
for me it's usually like 10 to 12 games, which is short.
i can't train ipsen to another van basten.
how to make the training last longer? for like a whole season.

I am only in the second div but I usually buy prom players at the very start. That way you seem to get a season (maybe cos it is the second div). I dunno if this makes the period last longer but at least you know when his time is nearly up so you can make a few vital tweaks to suit you team. btw, is it just me or do strikers seem to be the only people decent to train - got a keeper and he is a croc only getting 10-12 per match. never going to get anywhere with points like that....

I have had the problem where you cannot train promising players any more as i have alexis kivi but he is terrrible and it does not make me able to increase his ability! very frustrating
