newcomer here!! can someone either direct me or give some advice as to how the hell i get hooked up on pes5 online?
i bought a ethernet cable today and have a slim line, so what do i do next??

Stick one end of the cable into your router and the other into the back of the PS2. You might also need a network disc, I think.

u dont need a network disc, ive got my slimline hooked up to net. all you do is plug ur ethernet cable into the back of ur ps2, and the other end in ur router or whatever, then go onto network on pes5 menu screen. u'll need to configure network settings on your memory card, but jus put everything as auto and yes and you shouldnt require a password or something it says from your internet provider. after that test ur connection and if it works your ready to roll

Ok
1) Connect cable to the back of the ps2
2)Connect other end to the bak of your modem
3) Switch Modem off and then on so that your modem isnt still tryin to pick up info for internet
4)turn on ps2
5) Select Network on startup screen on pes5
6)Create User name
7) Play
