Hi everyone.
I'm still playing with WE8 Jap version and I'd like to know which option file I can download that is compatible with this version. I often see around option files for PES4 or WE8I or WE8LE, but WE8 is now rare. I understand that's obsolete, but I'd like to be able to convert a WE9 (that is of course very updated) or PES4 option files to WE8 by myself. I like to stay updated with current team players. probably WE9 is not compatible with WE8, but I hope at least PES4 is.
I downloaded many tools for editing, but I can't get how to convert OF from one version to the other. is it enough to rename BESLES-52760PES4OPT to BISLPM-65657WWE8OPT for converting PES4 to WE8? or it's not possible in such an easy way?

I don't think you will be able to convert a file so you'll have to make the changes ingame or using the pc editor (if it is compatible). Start with the most up to date file for WE8 that was released.

You don't like playing WE8:LE or WE9?

yes, that's right. I tried WE9 and I really don't like it. referee are too severe and I hate the movement toward the ball that players have in multiplayer matches. I dunno about WE8LE 'cause I haven't got it.
but do you think there is no conversion tool from WE8I or PES4 to WE8 either? aren't they compatible?

Otherwise, I would very much recommend WE8:LE as it is much better than WE8. You can find it on www.play-asia.com

I do agree about the refs in WE9 but we should change the way we play to get past that. WE9/PES5 is a better game of football all round most people believe. Just takes a bit of adaptability and playing with more patience by not holding the 'Press' buttons.
