PS3 boot pack?

Is it possible for someone to make a boot pack on ps3.Is someone in the process of trying to do it or do you think this kind of editing will never be done for PS3.

i hope ps3 can get this stuff becuase ive seen videos where people have put there own custom add boards in aswell as boots and balls
