Don't know if you've heard about this but apparently the PS3 controller is supposed to be like the Wii? Some dude on this gaming site said that if you move your arms when on Call of Duty 3 it shrugs off the attacking German Soldier. He also said you can use it to drive on Ridge Racer 7... Don't know if this is all bullshit it probably is but has anyone else heard this rumour?

yah its called the six-axis controller. you can tilt it forwards and backwards and side to side. they implemented it into a tennis game but it seemed kinda akward as it was used to move your player

It doesn't sense where you are, just movement unlike the Wii. The Wii can detect how far, how high away the controller is etc.

Yeah. PS3 is expensive. It will come down in price but I'm glad I chose a 360 because:

1) Halo 3 and Gears of War are exclusives to the 360.

2) Most of my mates own a 360.

3) Xbox Live is probably far superior online to the PS3 even if it's £5 a month.

ps3 is getting separate exclusive content

from what i read duel shocks copy write is not own by sony so they would have to pay royalties plus it would fook up the 6 axis controller for sensitivity.
thought i have heard that the metal gear solid produce wants some sort of vibration feed back for MGS4, some separate arm packs where i would not directly affect the pad.

PS3 has many online shooters, thing is they are all either on XBOX 360 or are updates on old games...ie Socom 4 (coming soon) Call of Duty 3 :rolleyes: and though it is a good game, apart from graphics not much new in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas :mellow:

That doesn't surprise me.

I think Sony have just realised that they can't shift anymore PS3s at the moment. Not just because of the relatively high price but because all the 'big hitters' are missing from the initial batch of PS3 game titles.

I think that once the big hitters start to release games on the PS3 (such as PES, GTA, MGS etc), then they'll probably shift more PS3s.

One thing I know for sure though is if the PS2 continues to outsell the PS3, then a price drop is on the horizon for the PS3.

Lol, I already have 2 PS2's in my house. :happy:

My bulky black one died on me about 2-3 months ago after a good 5 years of use. Bought me a new slim, silver PS2 about a month ago. Gotta admit, I like the whole DVD-RW and DVD+RW compatability with the slim console. :)

About the old one, I'm getting it repaired very soon. Just waiting for the new Lens to come in from Japan (yes it's another lens problem) and the old console should be as good as new. Of course, I'm not going to keep both of them. Once I've got the old one working again, I'll then promptly sell it either on Ebay or in a local newspaper such as the Bargain Pages. ;)
