i bought pro evo 08 2 days, and when i played it, there was alot of stutter, it became almost unbearable in the penalty box, all this despite installing konami's 'patch'.
i installed an option file which had epl's big four and some bugs fixed.
At this point there was still lag.
However once i installed the game to the hard disk, it was fixed!!! A very significant improvement, long passes dont break up, crossing in the penalty box doesnt stutter, and replays look like replays. there is still slight lag although no where near as much before.
i play on a 32" Acer LCD, i set the output res to 720p not 1080i. (same as game output res)
I also toned down the jaggedness of the players by lowering the sharpness of the tv and increasing contrast and slightly toning down brightness. creating smooth player models.
IT IS SOOO MUCH BETTER NOW!!!
anyways can others who are still having framerate problems try this and tell me if it works, cheers.
