(PS3) Live Update with Edited Teams in Exhibition

Hi,
Something weird happened and I was wondering if anyone could shed light on it.
Is it possible to play Exhibition games against COM with edited OF kits and emblems while using Live Update?
I swore that I was able to play with Arsenal (using an OF) and had Bellerin at RB using Live Update. The odd thing was the kits were messed up in game, there was a blue strip down the sides of kit.

The next time, I tried using Live Update to use new players like Bellerin and the entire Kit and Emblem reverted to N. London Red.

I believe once you implement Live Update (on ps3 anyway) you cannot play with your Option File edits. you can shut it back off of course, back out of the menu, and go back in and all will be reset to your option file.

Brings up a question I am hoping an answer exists now - How do we get the new Konami players from the last update into our offline squads if using an Option File?

this is driving me crazy.

Next time you want to play live update loads first and then edit data, and you have live update and edit teams.It is important that you do not press back (circle) button when you implement live update , just pick a team , you can even go to main menu as soon as the game starts.Just leave the update on and it will always load first update and then edit data.Cheers.

what gets me is the solution is so out of the ordinary, with no explanation by Konami whatsoever. You almost have to make a mistake to get it to work correctly.

Unbelievable this is a professional company.

well , they didn't think much about people who don't play online , because when you go online it always loads edit data after update. I have accidentally noticed that it never loads edit data when you turn on live update for the first time,second match in exhibition mode is ok ,but first is always without edited data.Guess it is some kind of bug ,because I can't believe they did that on purpose.

seems to only work in an exhibition match. Although i see the updated squads there, i don't see them in the edit section nor when I start a new season. do you see the new squads in a season or league mode?
