Has anybody tried turning off the widescreen option on the PS3 and tried playing PES2008...It appears to run a lot smoother than on 16:9?

...or am I going mad?

I read this somewhere-if you take all the songs from track menu the gameplay will be smoother but i dont think it would be (maybe that guy is lying)
