Greetings fellow gamers, so threre will be a new psp coming very, very soon called the psp3000. Has anybody got a psp at the minute and would they recommend it. I currently have a ps3 but the thought of gaming while lying in bed is very appealing to me. Does anybody know if there will be a psp2 coming out and if so when, cause I dont want to buy a product only to fgind out that there is an updated one in the market (made that mistake with the gameboy).

Pro evo has a very good track record of producing there quality game at its full potential for the psp system and personally, as much as I love online play, I am still willing to sacrafice it for thge freedom of gaming anywhere I want. So what I want to ask you is, will the psp version of pes09 be missing any key features in the game and if so what?

And another thing, whats everybody's views on the games available on the psp, personally I think they're crap apart from: PES, TW, SVR an d various racing games!

Your opinions are always greatly appreciated!

From what I experienced with the past PES in PSP, eventhough they developed it to full potential, it didnt amaze me much because it feels like somethings are missing in the PSP version. I dont know what were, but I rather play with ps3.

PSP-3000 Redesign Compared, Pictured.
Images emerge of Sony's latest PSP iteration.

US, August 25, 2008 - After the hype surrounding the PSP Slim fizzled out, it quickly became apparent that Sony had no interest in committing to any sizable overhaul of the PSP. When news of the PSP-3000 redesign broke at GC in Leipzig, Germany last week, our initial response was that of mild intrigue. The new iteration, it was announced, would feature a built-in microphone, enhanced LCD screen, and a revised plastic casing to reduce reflectivity. Exciting, right? Well, as it turns out, the revisions made for the PSP-3000 are actually kind of remarkable.

Japanese gaming website, Famitsu.com, managed to snap comparison shots of the PSP-2000 and the PSP-3000 to highlight exactly how much of a difference the new additions make.

As you can see, the PSP-3000's new LCD screen has a notably wider gamut with unprecedented color representation.

The anti-reflective casing also makes a notably significant difference, minimizing not only the screen's reflective glare, but also the distracting glare of the side panels.

Another minor aspect of the redesign not explicitly indicated by previous announcements is the PSP-3000's revamped PSP logo on the back of the UMD loading tray. The circle surrounding the PSP logo has been significantly reduced, making the brushed metal ring a little less obvious.

In response to Sean: Really, I didnt know trhat. Would it be any good seeing that you would be a fair distance from your rooter and this may cause a poor connection resulting in laggy play? Can anyone shine a light on this?
