Put back in the old style game plan menus

This overall rating system is absolutely shit.

I don't want pro evo to be anything like fifa.

In the old games you could see by 'the shape' comparisons exactly where the strengths of a player lay without having to go through 2 pages of stats.

Overall rating doesn't mean anything just a general indicater of the quality of the player.

Is it possible for someone to just mod this and return it to normal?

On Gameplan, hover over the player you want to check, then press triangle (on PS3) and you'll see the miniature hexagon in the top corner near the overall rating.

I really don't like game plan set-up at all. it should definitely be reverted back to the old style.

There was alot of talk about Konami changing the set-up on Gameplan however everyone at WENB disagreed and thought the Gameplan is a more advanced and tactical way to football and makes changing players easier. IMO, the old system is too outdated as the new drag and drop Gameplan has flair

I'm with Rainey and Matt. None of this drag and drop rubbish and overall stats. I've never been too keen on custom formations so the current layout for the gameplan screen is pointless for me. It was a lot easier changing players when all you did was select one player then select another rather than having to navigate to the particular player on the pitch display.

By this do you mean how you can accurately alter player positions? This has been around for ages, hasn't it?

Yes but I still yearn for the old style. It's one of the minor reasons for why I've not been as enthusiastic about PES for the past 4 years.

I like that aspect. It seems to make a bit of difference. For example, if I played 4-4-2, I would place on striker slightly behind and to the left/right of the other, and same with the centre mids.

You could actually have done that before the new gameplan, just go to edit formation then you can click on a player and move him across a miniature pitch

But the old way of doing it was far superior. Drag and drop is great for PC, but a bag of wank for consoles.

Ahhhhhhh, I think I misunderstood earlier. You're talking about how you do the subs etc, by dragging and dropping from the left to the "pitch area". I thought you were just on about manually altering the player positions. :facepalm:
In that case, yeah, I hate it too!

the old menu style was much better and user friendly, this new shit just confuses me, by the time ive got my team how i want it, i just can not be bothered to play the game, it's another reason why i don't care for PES anymore.

this franchise is finished and washed up, i honestly can not see it being good ever again, the people at konami just have no clue what the fans want, and they obviously don't look at this board for feedback, it's a joke.
