Question about patching, please help

Hey everyone hope you are all doing well. I've been patching PES games for the last two years since I have switched over from FIFA, but I have a question. Basically I have an Option File that has all European clubs/national teams but I would like to add Brazilian league so I can have Santos.

Is it okay if I download a new option file from a different user than my current one, pull out Santos FC and add it to the option file I already have?

It wouldn't work. The kits maybe if you manually entered them, but not the player data. You cannot 'splice' data.
