Question on Free Kicks

I've been trying to improve my Free Kicks for a while now. Just recently have i discovered the Unlimited amount of free kicks i can do under training, rather than plugging in another controller and fouling myself over and over (yeah, pretty sad) . . . But my question is directed towards the very hard shot, holding Up on the D-pad + R2 and shooting, when i do it, it seems like its a regular shot.. maybe just a tad harder, lower to the ground.

Now when i play the computer and they are like 30m out, they have a player start a ways back and runs up and cream the ball towards the goal. Is that what the the Very Hard Shot is supposed to be? If not, how the hell do i do that?

(trust me i wouldn't be asking if i haven't searched past threads and looked at guides)

As far as I know, running before shooting is an idividual skill that is available to certain players.

Holding UP and R1 makes for astronger, lower shot
Holding DOWN and R2 makes a shot slower and curve more

For 20 Meter far or less, use both down and R2, release square before shoot gauge reaches half.
for 30 Meters or more, use both UP and R1 and release square just after shoot gauge passes exceeds half
If you shot gauge exceeds the charge you intended, try slowing down "after shooting the ball" by holding TRIANGLE. This will give your shot a sudden descending.

The running before shooting is a indivual skill but you could also pres R3 (I believe that's the button) and then you could tap the ball with one player and a other player takes a run before he shoots the ball. An other very usefull tip is when you have a freekick very close towards the goal simply tap the O-button (just hit the button so the bar only gets a very little bit full) The ball will go over the wall and the keeper won't stand a chance when it goes towards the post.

If you are talking about the Roberto Carlos free kick run up. In edit mode, basic settings, free kick type, set to c, for a big curl, set to e.

Hope That Helps
