Sometimes the option is available (by pressing L1+R1), in the same way as it was in WE10. I dont think that option has been tinkered with at all.

I'm not fully sure what you mean but the 'quickest' way to take a free kick by shooting which is most likely to trick opponents is by using the 2nd man. Press L1 + R1 to bring a player over to lay you off, although, simply hold L1 + Square and this 2nd man will quickly turn himself and shoot.

the free kick in pes6 has to be the hardest that i have dealt with, this due to the power bar which does only need a slight tap but still the defenders can jump higher than the bar lol
