Just had PES2008 for the PS3 and we normally play our master league teams against each other, but just uploaded it and the player stats are from when i bought them, not the updated stats.

Is this feature no longer on this game.... and if so... why!?!?!

Maybe people viewed your topic and didnt know either what you were talking about or have no answer to your question.

This is a good forum and if you want answers, dont just demand and try and force people to reply. Give it time and someone will answer your question :)

I havent played the PS3 version of PES2008 but in the past versions your players stats (from a master league) are not carried over into an exhibition match...

Really appreciate your reply DJ_Smurf but that's incorrect.

For the last 2 or 3 Pro Evo's you've been able to play Master League Teams against each other.... and with the players stats up to date. i.e. the same stats as their last Master League match you played with them.

This is the only true way to play Pro Evo in my opinion. You get your Master League team exactly how you want them, you buy "classsic" youngsters and bring them on so their stats are better than anything on the Exhibition mode and you pit your wits against your mates Master League team... who has equally been working on improving his team.

The option is under "SAVE" as "SAVE MY TEAM DATA" in Master League.

Have they really not got this option on PES 2008 for PS3???!?!

Well on PES 5 for the PS2 i was unable to gain the stats i recieved from my master league in an exhibition match. I had bought a 16 year old " Inzaghi " and went to show my nephew the stats he had while we were playing and, low an behold, he was 36 years old.... not the 16 year old with the stats that had improved quite a bit...

Not sure about PES6 as i dont play it....

Hi mate, it's been a while since i played the one's before PES 6 but without digging them out you definitely could do that. I'm sure that option has been on the Pro Evo series since at least no. 3.

But to do that you have to select the option "SAVE MY TEAM DATA" and obviously save that to a free space on the memory card grid, then when selecting an EXHIBITION match you chose the saved team data as your team.

I think remembering back to earlier Pro Evo's you could only do this by loading up one team using the memory card in slot A, removing it, and then loading another Master League team (your mates for example) by slotting the Memory Card in Slot B. This also worked if you took your memory card around to a mates house and loaded it up on his PS2.

But where is that option now???? :( :( :(

The 'Save My Team Data' option is still in the Master League in the PS2 version of PES 2008, I can definitely confirm that.

However, I don't have a PS3 version of PES 2008 so I can't tell you if it does or doesn't have the 'Save My Team Data' option in the Master League (on the PS3 version). It might just so happen that KCET took it out of the PS3 version but left it in the PS2 version.

From what I've been told, there is a remarkable difference in features between the PS2 version of PES 2008 and the PS3 version of PES 2008 so it wouldn't surprise me one bit if the 'Save My Team Data' option has been taken out of the PS3 version.
