Serious Help Needed For Shooting!!!!!

i have been playing this game for about 3 weeks now and i still do not understand how to shoot. everytime im one on one, im too afriad to place the ball because it always seems to go wide, or its already staight at the keeper so i always have to use the lil chip (which im tired of now). even when im in the "D" of the box, i shoot to the far post (exactly the same way i did in all pro evo games), and it just goes wide or to the keeper. very rarerly ive scored outside the box, even inside the box i have troubles.

i was just wondering is there a certain type of way to shoot. say if im running from left to right and i want to shoot for the left post, i would shoot with a decent amount of power and ill as im pressing :square: ill hold up or up-right diagnol. this method has always proved useful for me but now it hardly ever works. PLEASE HELP ON HOW TO SHOOT!!!!! thank you!

ok, 1on1 is very simple - you master this method and you will score everytime

its called the shot fake.

when you are running up to the keeper a few strides away, press :square: then when the bar is going up press :x: and a direction - make sure the direction is away from the keeper and if you do it right you'll skip past him and he'll fall over.

then you walk into the net.

otherwise, when your shooting outside the box get your power to just under full and aim it towards the center of the goal depending on where you are standing and with quality players youll at least hit the target.

Yes, the fakeshot can be usefull, but I personally find it a bit complex to do when you are under pressure of some defenders. First you must press the two buttons within the right time and then you should give a direction. All in a split second.
That's why I choose for another option. I use the option where you place the ball, like you already did, but there are some points you should pay attention to:
1. NEVER hit it hard! Just tap the shoot button very short! That way the ball keeps low and in some cases you even can place the ball under the keeper into the net.
2. Watch the keeper before you shoot: Does he leave a gap? Go for it! If not, choose the short side of the goal to aim, so NO diagonal shot, which is harder.
3. If you complain that your shots go wide, you probably keep the direction pressed too long, curving the ball away from the goal. So try with releasing the direction after the shot. You also may try to bend the ball inside the post with curving the reverse direction.
