Hi guys, I've found a workaround. It's limited and is probably only good for offline modes if you don't care about trophies, but here goes.
First, the editor creates a PSN account using a disposable email (www.guerrillamail.com or similar) and uses that account on a new user in his PS4. He then does all the editing on that users save, copies it and uploads it. He then shares the sign in information for that account so that people can make new users on their PS4s using that same PSN account and you will be able to use the edit data since it's the same account.
I've managed to share an edit file with a friend using this method for an offline tournament with custom teams.
The idea behind using a disposable email address is that anyone can have access and even if some random douchebag changes the password, anyone can change it back since access to the email's inbox is public.
Only thing is we're relying on the editors to remake their files under a new account/user.
One very important thing is that once you set up the account on your PS4 you must sign out of PSN and disable automatic sign in because everytime an accounts signs into one PS4 all other PS4's using the same account will be logged out. Also, do not activate PS4 as primary.
