Anyway i give it 8.5 outta 10 and still chance of improvement. Every goal scored is different which is great. Im conceding less goals now due to good defending. Shooting is still weird for me. Still waiting for Konami or someone else to do a tutorial!

i gave the game an 8 out of 10. the main issue is the shooting, the ball feels to light and the placing of the shot too restrictive. i downloaded jenkey tool and added weight to the ball which made a huge difference. hopefully konami will fix the issue with placing of shots.

Hope they do fix it, Sometimes I can place it no problem But usually 1 on 1 nothing happens, Straight to the keeper. And some shots are Seriously weak. This is the only major flaw in this game for me

Just like my username, I would rate pes 2012 a 7.

It had great potential, but it's feel too unfinished and unrefined.
It still is a good football, game, I like because at times it resembles football really good. But the bad things in it are really, really annoying thus ruining the experience sometimes.

Still overall, I would give it a 7. And 7 doesn't mean bad. It's good, but with a few more refinements could have easily been an 8.

8 and 9 are realtively the same. I voted 8 just on the basis I have seen clips of some flaws, non of which I have experienced myself, and that 9 would imply it is almost the finished article, which it isn't there are always improvements to be made, but they are very close this year. Realistically, I would say 8.5. But there you go.

Yeah, the jenkey mod is awesome. I tweaked the gameplay speed to the perfect level and weakened the shot power by one bar. I don't know what he did but even the AI has improved; maybe its the remove scripting thing. Hell, even defending seems easier. Everything seems so nicely balanced and perfect. It will be nice if Konami would just blantantly copy it, or at least its ideas.
Have you tried Netherlands vs Spain in superstar 15min. Sneijder and Xavi was stealing the show. It was by far the most amazing game i have seen by a computer vs computer game ever.

After 1 week of playin i would of given it a 3. Now i aint tryin to provoke anyone who doesnt like it but trust me the game takes time to get used to, especially if like me u had mastered 2011 and then found 2012 way to iffy, but honestly if u stick with it and practice u will come to realise that its awesome especially online... i gave it an 8 cos goin round the keeper is a bit to easy but even that i am getting better at stoppin so there u go.

I've gone for a 7. When it plays well the game is the best rendition of football I've ever played. I caned demo 1 and demo 2 and I have caned this across two platforms, PS3 and PC. But, I think it's because I'm playing it so much that I'm finding things really frustrating now. I almost always play either on Top Player or Superstar because at anything else I get way too high possession so that is not an option.

I think the most FUN I can get out of the game is out of the box, PS3 gamespeed 0. It is a rip roaring fest of a game, love it, but not very sim like.

As soon as you start trying to make the game into a sim, then the game breaks. Maybe it's just me, but with ANY alterations to what I specified be it with patches, option files, DLC or even Jenkey, there are things that are just plain weird that are not in the out of the box game.

The players locking into animations is now my major, major bug bear and it happens to take your players out of the game so that the CPU scripts can kick in. I'm also looking through replays more now and noticing how the CPU manipulates my defenders to create chances for the CPU.

And as many have said, the game still feels on rails a lot of the time and the more I pay it the more I feel I'm battling with the controller all the time. I've still spend a million hours on it though, but I think it maybe time to give FIFA a shot for a while before I start hating the game.

Who voted for 10? serously... why are ppl making such random and troll votes, there is no way in HELL that this game deserves either a 10 or a 1-2, im actually already sorry to even add these 2 options...

Btw im almost sure most ppl who voted 8 didn't rly play it extensively yet, I mean sure some might like it as much as 8 but I doubt the majority would rate it so high.

I was playing some guy last night and he was doing all these random tricks in the open field and the speed of the game made them look rediculous! Kinda a turn off.... I wish this game was slower, I really like the gameplay, the new defensive system and off ball control but the speed is whats keeping me from really giving it a high mark. I gave it an 8 but would have given it a 7.5 if the choice was available.

Sorry man, but democracy is speaking, even though you and me disagree with them.

For me it's not that it is a bad game, it's mostly brilliant, but it's that annoying 15-20% which is just so so bad, that completely ruin some games.

8.5 great game! AI pisses me off most of the time but I am a bug PES fan so I like the new features on 12 but I really wish konami would fixed the training regiment ..Really upset I can't teach my players style playing cards..

It's a bit unfair because I've voted with solely the online experience in mind; as that is what I've played extensively.

3-4 Online.

Offline I understand is a different beast and in that case it gets a 5.5

I just said that a few might not really played throughly or maybe they have a bit of a different definition of ratings, for example for me a 8 is a game that is absolutely amazing and I love to play it, but still needs one or two improvements to be perfect, pes is not that for sure for most, maybe a minority, yet the poll shows differently.

So maybe the definitions are a bit different for some.

Although the game should be further ahead in terms of tech than it actually is, pes 2012 is my favourite all time football game just ahead of pes 5 and 2011. Some of the flaws in the game are irritating but I would give it 8.5, however the game has not advanced enough on next generation consoles.
