Hi,

I am really enjoying pes 6 on the pc its great finally a game with replay value. I am using a PS controller.

I really just needed some answers to these questions if possible:

Some players seem to be able to move there off the ball men right up to my furthest back player and intercept a goal kick , how are they doing this? Its just I dont seem to have this much control

What is the difference between master league network mode and master league normal mode?
What I have been told so far is that I play against other players teams, Is this like ML but playing against human players who are also playing ML or playing against the team they made but against the computer?

How are other players skinning men solo is there any good methods for this any of you could reccomend?

What is the pes shop for? Is there any things a must buy to play well online?

99% of the players online have been very good and nice players but last night I finally managed to stop my losing streak and when the game went into extra time I managed to score a goal making the score 2-1 to me. Anyway the next thing the guy disconnects , obviously I wasnt happy as being a new player I have been beat 4-1 and I never DC. I went into chat and told people what the guy did , next he starts branding me a cheat..........he just kept saying it so I was like "How do you get that cmon then tell me?" so he says because I had auto positioning on, I can assure you all I never specifically put anything like that on so maybe it was on by default and I dont see how im a cheat because of this. I mean online I lost the majority I played and know one else had a problem and I was always open saying Im new. Is this seen as cheating online? One guy in chat said to the guy look just defend against it. I wander why konami even have such an option if it is exploiting the game. Also I would have even understood if the guy said in the room at the start no auto-positioning. I said I was new and he didnt specify any rules like that.

I do have a manual and I am reading it but any tips , or things people have configured to play the game at its fulest would be appreciated .........also where can I get a hold of a free online guide?

I cant think why you cant move your player off the ball near (just behind) the furthest back defender.
You'll either just have to kick it long or pass straight back to the keeper when they do it.

Without checking, when making a new master league, if you dont choose the network mode, it means you cant use your master league team online. For friendlies and competitions. Not that there is an online master league. I think.

Skinning men solo. If this is to do with dribbling past players? Just do some dribbling practice. Dont use fast run all the time. Players dribble better in normal or slow(R2) dribble. Shot cancel is a good one.

PEs shop. buying extras like more stadiums, master league starting credits, penguin suits, old team and players etc. Nothing is needed.

Auto positioning. Could be to do with how you change players. Most PES players use manual as it gives more control over who you are. Its not cheating. Infact if it was easier to play that way, everyone would do it.

I havent bothered to play online yet with PES6 and only bothered a few times with PES5, so this is all from memory of quickly flicking through the manual when I first got it.

My advice is buy the official guide. Its only about £8 and is very informative.

When I do go online, i'll give you a game. You can use auto if you want :) Maybe tonight.

Thanks hawkeye for the reply, I actually checked auto positioning and I must have set it to off at the start so it seems that guy was making an excuse for dc. I have won a few games online now ) but I have lost many more! ........I hear ya about overuse of run!. I have also been playing Master league against the comp and I have to say in some cases it is harder than the players online........I know people have said the opposite to this but at this time I think the ai is good .........I am a reasnable passer but the space I can make against the comp is limited compared to the space I could make in pes 5 . This is not me having a dig at pes 6........Im just saying and heck I love the game. Theres also a part to do with strategy it has like auto and full auto and attack and finally manual , I think its to do with how the player team ai reacts to certain situations ........do you take that stuff of and put it at manual? (Im not referring to manual settings in the context of the teams formation setup).

Anyways my IGN is Eldave and looks like I might buy that guide as it gets good reviews. Give me a shout if you see me on.

I just recieved the piggy back expert guide hawkeye. I general dont agree with guides for MMPORG type games as they ruin them and cause conjestion and arguments between players at certain places in the game.

I have to say though the expert guide is awsome , I was maybe a bit sceptical before I made the purchase(As I have seen other game guides) but the guide is so well done and it is interesting and easy to read, it is also broken down VERY well and some of the diagrams have shown me ways to use pes 6 controls that I never thought off. Im just going to try the dvd now.........I just wish all guides came with dvds how great is that :)
