All this does sound great but I very much doubt that gamers of Playstation 2 will have the sensation of gaming with 'smells'....

I agree with you. Virtual reality will take something away from gaming.
I'd much rather sit back infront of the TV with a PS2 controller and play games rather than don some ridiculous VR headset - i cant see how that is relaxing. I don't want to be immersed in the game any more than that.
