I just saw Soul Calibur 4 on the official playstation website and the trailers look amazing, graphics still looks a little cartoonish like all fighting games still look, the fighting looks fast paced and interesting too.

I saw some new moves and characters and all what not, but the main thing am excited about is that two new characters are Yoda and Darth Vader from StarWars, AMAZING!, i dont really know why it excites me, but it does.

I have played Soul Calibur before,Soul Calibur II that is, but i got tired of the button bashing and easy killing of people plus my pad gets spoilt but this one is reliveing my dream of Soul Calibur again, the official Soul IV website looks good and so does the trailers. I think am buying this one

What you think of Soul Calibur in a whole?

I loved Soul Blade but my interest waned after that. I'm gonna get this but it will probably only play it a couple of times & get bored.

A new and better story mode would make it less boring, what do you think of the new characters from StarWars?

I'm not really a fan on the whole beat-em-up genre. I know this is different from Tekken, but it's the same basis really.

I'm not really sure how far these games can progress to be honest. The last innovative feature I saw was in DoA 2 with destructible environments progressing the fight to new areas. I'm sure I saw something similar with Mortal Kombat with some sort of environmental weapons.

I haven't played any of these in years though, so my judgement could be light years behind :/

i know you dont have a clue, i havent played the game myself, i just asked what you think the StarWars characters, like what you think they can bring?

Haribo: I think Soul Calibur characters are better than the other beat-em-up games, they interact more, like when i play Tekken, i dont really care if Jin Kamaza is trashed to death in the story mode play but i feel for the characters on Soul Calibur, its like one man or woman is my own special army that i brought up, they just interact more with me and the moves in the game are really great, it makes Mortal Kombat look boring to me.

Definitely, but it was fake when i saw Darth Vader's laser sword clinking with an ordinary sword, and the ordinary sword not tearing in half, seeing as laser can tear down metal. anywayz its a game
