Has anybody else noticed their copy of PES3 speeding up occasionally, making the players look as if they are iceskating on the pitch???

It tends to happen randomly, but seems to occur more often when no buttons are pressed for more than 2mins, or when proceed to team select option is selected after previous match has ended.

Something similar happend to me - once i start normal exhib. match, i noticed that game speed up , then i quit match and play another, and everything look all right again. Must be some kind of bug.

What actually happens is that the players run faster -- they look as if they are skating/sliding, seeing as it is not physically possible to make so much ground so fast.

This problem is really starting to piss me off. Today, five consecutive ML games were in this ridiculous "super speed". If only there was a game speed adjustment bar like in a previous game of the series (can't remember which)...

Perhaps the problem lies in the way the graphics load. This problem doesn't seem to be influenced by the team or stadium selection.

How often does this "speeding-up" occur in your copy >Waiting for Incoming< ?

i play we7 and its never happened in that game... nor have i ever seen it happen in pes3 when playing in the pesleague...

I dont play PES3, only WE7 / WE7-I , and in this version i never have this problem.

there was a thread posted by a computer game programer who explained why ice skating occurs in PES3. It is a 'mistake' by programers to lock XYZ axis and player seems to do Michael Jackon's moon walk when they 'speed up', i.e. skate. Also they skate side ways, forward and backward, and when other players 'push' etc. It is not dodgy DVD, it is the problem with PES3 retail version only. It happens to everybody whether they pay close attention or not.
However it does not happen in some 'other' PES3 versions (beta and magazine), and in WE7 or WE7i (JAP). Get WE7i (Jap) if you can, it is easiest to get hold of and is probably the best so far.
