Can anyone with Splinter Cell: Pandora tomorrow for the PS2 PLEASE tell me how you are meant to 'pick the lock' at the very start of the game???!!!

I tried moving the left analogue stick up + down, then left + right, but the lock moved slightly, and then stopped.

Please help, I am not going to let £20 go down the drain after all of 4 minutes of playing!

OK, not sure what you mean, but I have had the exact same problem with that game, only I bought it for £35 at launch for 4 mins of the game!!

So....................Can someone please help us both, as it would mean a lot to me! Thanks!

The idea is that when you rotate the analogue stick there comes a point where the lock starts to move, this means you have found the right quadrant of the analogue stick for that particular pin (top left/top right/bottom left/bottom right). To move the pin you need to keep moving the analogue stick up and down in that quadrant. Thats the way it works in chaos theory anyways.. My explaining skills aren't great but hope this helps..
