do the stars stats actually do anything because thierry henry has'nt got a goalscoring star stat but i score loads with him on extreme.

I would say they do.
Henry having a high shot accuracy and technique would explain his high number of goals.

The star for scoring may give that 'little bit extra' for getting them in.

Some things don't work without certain special skills such as long throw. Others may just improve the abilities.

in we6 fe what exactly does the playmaker ability do.....i know what it does but how does it work....does it make the players through balls better or something ?....and also assist man ability, how does that work

The definition of Playmaker is:-

Allows player to send last passes leading to through pases and goals with unerring precision and perfect timing.
When controlling players with this ability, team mates will help by running forward into position.

I think Assist Man is the translation of Playmaker and is the same thing.

A couple of the best star stats are reaction and positioning in my opinion. These are both good qualities in attacking players as it allows them read the play better, find space among defenders and beat offside traps. Players with these star stats can often more than make up for weak areas in their game.
