when I start the game I first see the konami logo but then it continues black and I see all kind of strange lines at my screen

does somebody know what's going on here?

(i've installed the patch)

This happens to mine and my friends version of the game - after the konami logo it goes blank for (almost) exactly 30 seconds and then the fmv kicks in - know idea y it happens though.....(super LARGE fmv to load??doubt that)
