I use the super cancel button (R1 & R2) when i want to latch on
to a through ball early and its also good when your chasing the ball.
I love using the long pass (L1 + double tap sq button) you can do
some lovely long passes most of the time to your player.

yeh zyg. I use it all the time to hit it into space. Type 2 control on long passing is good for that aswell. much more freedom.

Does anyone use L1+R3 stick for a manual high pass?

I find L1 + triangle hard to pull off. It is quite easily defended.

I find this a problem too :(. My friend can easily do this against me and I suffer so bad, the ball just flys past my defenders and his forward gets it and scores most of the time, I ask him how does he do it and he says L1 & Triangle and thats all. I try it and it doesnt work!! :(

use L1 and double tap the :circle: button. this will do a fast ball up the field. if u press :R2: it helps it to rise a bit more. also helps on crosses if you wanna a high, whipped cross in.

Hope this helps :)

ohhh u guys, L1 + Triangle is uber just practice! Wait till your striker is making a run (when his dot is flashing ontop of the defender) or if you spot him in space (ie in behind a left or right back) and then just press it. You can create so many goals out of nothing.

I find it works bettah than the regular throughball. As for Manual Zyg, i only ever use it for switches across the pitch that require a pass that cant be done with O.

Listen to "Mr. Goal" mates... he's got a point here! I always use L1 + O (and also the double tap at O) these high passes are much better than the L1 + triangle, I think.. actually the L1 + followed by O twice, is a perfect pass only a little bit above the ground. And it has great speed aswell! :D

I must admit that I admire you guys for using the manual pass! I find it very hard to use. I've used it once, and that was in training mode because I wanted to complete everything.. :D
