Swap Magic and New Slim PS2?

Any ideas if they'll work together?

My current PS2 is jiggered, so I'm gonna buy a new one, just wondered if anyone had any idea if they will work?

No clue but I am interested to know. It's like it comes with a flip top lid built in. If anyone knows, let us know.

Well, I just went out and bought the Silver PS2 for £70 brand new, and last day deal as the new slim ones come out tommorow, but it doesn't load my patched PES4 disk, even thought my old one did...what's the score with that?

Anyone had the same problem, I'm using swap magic. Would I be better to get it chipped or what, cuz it;s quite annoying that I bought a new PS2 to play PES4 a little more smoothly and it doesn't play my patched one at all now.

I've read that the slim PS2 is chippable but not certain on it.

i wouldnt get a brand new ps2 chipped if its still under warranty, what happens if something goes wrong in the chipping stage? unless you can affoard to splash out another 70sheets?!

Then what should I do? as the game doesn't work, yet it works on my old crappy one lol. Is there a newer Swap Magic disk I need to get or something?
