Tactics Question

Hi there,

I'm pretty happy with my formation for online matches. There is just one thing I would like to change, but I do not know what I have to tweak to get what i want. I play with a CF, RMF, LMF and AMF. My wingers are quite deep. But when I have a good counter possibility, my CF always comes TOWARDS the ball, instead of making a run forward. The same with my wingers. I want them to run forward, create space. What slider do I have to adjust to get this result? I have tried a lot, but nothing really seems to change it..

Thanks guys!

The only way I know off is to just make him run off the ball using the left analog stick. I don't think its about changing tactics, more of a bug

I would agree with Abu that off the ball is likely the only option.

while this thread is still fresh I have a separate question - I have never understood the cause and effect in the game plan when choosing "players to join the attack". If I choose a CB as "to join the attack" does that mean that player will always move forward when I am on offense. I

It seems to me this option is only reserved to CBs since won't the wingers and fullback actually join the attack as usual?(or at least if you have your attack bar on high)

Let players 'join attack' is pure and only for corners and free kicks. You can let a player like Vidic join the attack so he will assist the attackers in free kick situations. They will not join move forward when you are in offense.

For your wingers, that is the way they play when having this role.
for your CF, it depends on the player itself.

For example, with Chelsea, Torres as a CF comes to collect the ball much more often than Drogba, who is more a player that keeps hanging around the box of the opponent.

Try to set ur tacticbars more offensive, that might help for the midfielders.
Or make them AMF's or SS.
