i just wanted this thread to be about who is the best player in WE8 - Pro Evo 4. i havnt had a chance myself to go through the massive list of players in the game but this is what i think so far:

GK - (dont know yet)
Defender - Nesta
Midfileder - Ronaldhino
Striker - Henry

as i said i havnt had the chance to see everyone players stats yet, and i would like to hear from other PES4 players who they think are the best players in the game (stats wise).

I played with Inter last night, and Adriano was awesome! He's like Henry, fast, tall, skillful, but he's left footed. Quality.

GK- id say Toldo is probably the best, his stats are amazing, 97 for defence and balance if memory serves me right, and he was very good when i played as Inter a couple of times before. Also, Kahn & Buffon.

D- Nesta, Campbell, Ferdinand, A.Cole, Samuel, Cannavaro

M- Ronaldinho, Zidane, Vieira, Gerrard, Kaka

F- very hard to say with the strikers-Henry, Ronaldo, Vieri, Shevchenko, Owen, Totti, Van Nistelrooy, Raul, Adriano are the best statistically. Henry is probably the best, however that may be down a little to me by changing his stats on speed,acceleration etc to 99!

There are hidden players in the game, you can buy them in the shop. There are big players among them: Puskas, Georgie Best, Eusebio and lots of others.

I was playing with Liverpool last night against the lads and Diouf in particular killed them down the right with Cisse outpacing them with his pegs !

When I get pro evolution soccer 4 my team will be:

defenders- puyol, nesta, f. cannavaro, carlos.

midfielders- beckham, ronaldinho, nedved.

pro evolution soccer 4 is going to be the best one yet. Even though the pro evolution soccer series is the best football game around I really think that no fifa or this is football game will ever be as good as pes4.

I have joined to say that PES4 will be nowhere near as good as FIFA 2005. PES3 wasn't as good as FIFA 2004, so why should this be different?

don't listen to FIFA man because he has only played pro soccer 3 and he only played on it for about 15 minutes because he rented it and it was to hard for him. :)

I know joshhannam1 and he's an idiot. He's ginger! What more can I say? Anyway, I rented it for three days, picked it up, and straight away won a league on three star. Not really too hard for me was it?

For a game that has virtually no advertising whatsoever (as opposed to the gung-ho aggresive advertising tactics of EA sports), it is infact incredibly popular. Pro Evolution Soccer is popular because people who play it for any significant amount of time find it impossible to go elsewhere. Why go back to Fifa - a good looking, well presented, empty, shallow and virtually unplayable game, when you can have a game that feels and flows so much like the real thing you occasionally have to pinch yourself to check it's real?

Fifa has mass appeal because of the money spent on advertising, eye candy and official licenses. The game has about just the right amount of lameness to appeal to your average mediocre joe, or your common scally who knows next to nothing about the real beauty of the beautiful game. Pro Evo is for people who understand and appreciate football.

Your nickname is therefore quite appropriate :)
