has anyone here got the flip lid for playing imports? and does it work ok? i only really want it for we6fe. also, does it play cdr versions of the game which i would have patched.

alrite hitman.

i ordered my flip top + boot disks on tuesday, (its thursday now), so hopefully it'll be here by saturday, and ive downloaded WE6FE so, im really hopin that works, coz i dont wanna have to spend £50 importin WE6FE! Ill let ya know what happens though.

Hitman! got me flip top lid :D installed it myself too, which means anyone can install it!!! Ive tryed my PS2 with normal PES2 an it still works fine, so its all good. Now i just have to put WE6: FE onto a CD an do it right!!!

Do you or anyone know, When is WE7 gonna b released?

I just got the 'Eric Cartman' version but is isn't patched.

the swap disks don't seem to be workin :confused: im tryin the DVD one, then puttin in PES2, an it freezes???

arnt u only meant to use swap discs with games that dont normally work? maybe using real pes2 makes it counter it what the swap disc does, if u know what i mean

possibly, but i tryed with a real english cd game (smash court tennis pro tournament) and it just worked! lol. oh well

we6fe is on a cd innit?

OK, I'm having a bit of trouble actually copying or writing a CD from an image, and getting it to work with the flip top lid + boot disks method. Now, I have tryed the flip top lid + boot disks method with the ORIGINAL REAL smash court tennis pro tournament, (which is on CD). I then tryed to copy this directly to a CD-RW using CloneCD. CloneCD said that the copy was ok, and it worked etc. Then i tryed this copyed version of smash court using flip top + boot disks method, however it didnt work!!!

So i used CloneCD to write an image of the ORIGINAL REAL smash court tennis pro tournament, then put in a CD-RW and burned a copy from image, using CloneCD. Again when i tryed it on the PS2 with the flip top + boot disks method, it didnt work!!!

Im wondering (hoping!) if im doing something wrong and somebody knows why it isn't working! If this is the case then i would be very grateful if you could just reply to this post and tell me!!!

I thought perhaps you cannot use CD-RW to makes copies of games???

YAY! i just burned the downloaded WE6FE to a CD-R an it works :D It's black and white, but thats my old TV, ill just take it downstairs on the widescreen :D I will however, need to patch it! Hmmm, better go do that now!!! So the flip lid method does work!!! :D

Yeah, i found it no trouble at all. You'll need a pretty damn small screwdriver though! Or you could, like me, struggle with a big one! lol. The screws inside the PS2 are pretty small!

Ok, im actually now having trouble patching the game! I've got WedoIT 1 on it at the moment. Then i take an image of that, and extract the FILEDATA.AFS file an use AFS Explorer to apply the solidus 4.0 patch, then it all goes pear shaped :confused:

Any help please!!!???

The extracted AFS file loads in afse, then i apply the solidus patch, and it says its completed and it works. Then i go to open the new AFS file, (with solidus on), and it is corrupt??? i continued anyway an put dynamo patch on, then tryed to import the file into my image in CDmage, but its corrupt:confused:

Guys need some pretty urgent help! We've had problems oredering the flip top lid....

As I'm 17, me old man had to order it for me. But the whole paypal system totally confused us!

Q1 Wots the deal with paypal - do you have to wait 30 days fro the order cos of your member number??

Q2 Where did you order yours from - we need some alternatives.
