First, hi all. I just joined the forums but been spamming some already 
We play ML with a friend in same team, which is loads of fun and really recommended! While this drinkin 'n playing some funny stuff always comes out from mouth It just seems like our players are getting a personality on their own as we talk about them and so there has came loads of weird nicknames or slogans related to players. Here's some of what I remember from this pes and previous ones ..and some of them are very absurd (some in finnish first).
As someone says, loved child has many names and it really fits in PES as well doesn't it?
GK, Karpe - "Karpe's bakery" or "100%", we always seem to win when using our reserve GK
GK, Ustari - "Fistaaja, Fist-f**er" Always fisted every shot, never a save.
SB, Valles Prat - "Valle and his Brats", guy who always carries his dolls wherever he goes.
SB, Mathieu - "With Mathieu you can", "Mätti antaa mahdollisuuden, mathieu gives the possibility". As he was totally great in older PES. "Nätti-Jussi, Pretty-John", "Jussi-paita, Jussi-shirt".. absurd
SB, Reto Ziegler - "Tamas Peto ziegler junior boy the turd", later whe just came as "Peto, the Beast".. always when doing something right we said "Pedon vaisto herää, Beast instinct awakes" xD
CB, Pekka Sjå (an edit made own guy, who looks totally stoned all the time) - "Peksi for president", "Peksi's bananafarm".
CB, Jean (Pes06) - "Nallekarhu, Teddybear", a defender whos aggression was about 20, so we gave him a name Teddybear. "Jah" (as trying to spell it as fast as possible
DMF, Duffy - Incredibly sympathetic guy who everyone likes. Seemed to always be on great form no matter we never played him and also made progress a lot even as he was complete crap
DMF, Kooistra - Bad boy, who just has to get at least yellow per match to keep up his image.
DMF, Haestad - "Taistelija, Battler", "Battler Britton". name tells it all
AMF, Tulasne - "Verokarhu, Debt collector", "Poacher".. I'm not gonna explain such a long story
CF, Makukula (Pes06)- "Makis", "Kuituoptiikka, Fiberoptics". Came in PES 06, as he was always winning headers we said that well Makis's head is made with the greatest technology available. Just stick your head on the way of the ball and fiberoptics will do the rest
CF, John (Pes06)- "Joni Seinä, John Walls". Comes from the wrestler John Cena
CF, Valzzak - "Infernal Demon Lord Valzzak", "Seivästäjä, Impaler", "Valssuri, Walz dancer". Now here's one whos personality really got out of control with us.. As hes name sounded so demonic, we made him a bad boy lord with slogans like: "Hug me you fools!", "Valssurin viikate heilahtaa, Waltz dancers scythe sweeps (when scoring)", "Valssurin orsilla tavataan, We'll meet at skinners woods" (hard to explain a profession of skinning animals). :laugh:
CF, Paterson - "Floyd Paterson", "Floikka", "Patukka, a candy bar or stub". A bad, angry man beating everyone.. Floyd Paterson is an ex-boxer
CF, Thorstenson - Newest favorite, even that is just a mediocre striker in Pes2010 has a knack for vital goals in our team. Hard to explain this etymology.. in finland we had this comedy show, which made a parody of german police series. This comedy show was called Die Kühe, Resolvers (Ratkaisijat). So our players nickname:
"Ratkaisija, Resolver", as he makes those vital goals. "Keittiö, Kitchen", As Die Kühe is Kitchen in german? "Turska, Codfish" rhymes with Thorstenson. "Hauki, Northern Pike" another fish. Also slogans like "Turskahan sen hauen sitte hihasta veti, Well codfish then finally pulled the pike out of he's sleeve", "Turska näyttää kenen keittiö, Codfish shows whos kitchen it is".. Priceless fun when playing with friend
