I think that you noticed as me that the goalkeepers on PES3 (PC) are not perfect. I had not really realized of the problem until now, surely because of my enthusiasm for this fabulous game!
To be precise, it is not the goalkeeper of the team controled by the computer because this one is very correct (sometimes very good), but it is rather the goalkeeper of my team which irritates me more.
It has mad reactions :
- It arrives to him (up to 4 or 5 times in a match!!!) to play like a defender while leaving his surface whereas my defenders are quite present. (and also tackling to be made exclude)
- It very often runs towards the corner to defend whereas my side backward defender makes a good job in this zone.
These reactions harm completely the game pleasure (generally the result is red card for goalkeeper or a goal against me)
Not only I must defend against the opposing team (what is not easy especially in ***** mode) but in more I must supervise the reactions of my goalkeeper !!!
Some will say that it is realism, I say that it is stupidity, a goalkeeper does not spend its time leaving its surface especially if the defenders are there to do their work!
I tried to modify the goalkeepers stats to change their "idiotic" behavior but without result.
It is a pity for this game whose artificial intelligence is overall excellent.
I would like to know if some fans had succeeded in eliminating these "stupid" reactions by modifying the stats or by another means?
