The new "revolutionary" nintendo controller

Its different, I like it. This is what the Revolution is about taking gaming to another level which nintendo are not afraid to do unlike sony and microsoft who will end up copying it if it is a success.

You're all hating on it cause you're afraid of change, lol. I think it can work out very well if it's properly implemented.

The worst thing is that it would be near impossible to play any football game on that pad/remote control. I think that though the controller is a 'revolution', only games playable on it will be nintendo's own ones. Plus, i cant see any other company putting money into an unreliable invention. i think this 'should' be the end of nintendo on making game systems but you know theyll never die

thats an awful controller. Nintendo should take a leaf out of Sony book. I mean look at the design for the PS2 pad, its the same as the PSone pad and it's simple and comfortable to hold.

How about Sony took a leaf out of Nintendo's book, and also analog amognst other things. And the same controller over and over is boring. And either you can get another controller that is just like a normal GameCube controller, or you can do somthing with that new controller to make it normal. You don't HAVE to use it like that. And it just shows how anti-Nintendo you all are. You're saying Nintendo are going to die because of a controller, it's the games that matter. So if they have the best games of all 3 consoles, they'll fail because of the controller? Get a grip.

If the games were amazing but I can't get a good grip on the controller then it will be a waste of a good game and I won't be playing on that console. Like for example: I got used to the PS2 controller and now I can't play PES on the computer without a ps2 controller, and for FPS games, playing with the mouse/keyboard is the best way to enjoy it, tried (area 51) on the PS2 and liked it a lot but it didn't feel right to use the analog for FPS so didn't buy it.

wtf that looks more like a controller for a dvd player rather than a consle god some designers are thick hope the ps3 one isn't like the boomerang one

Man you'd look like a right tw*t with those in your hands, especially the green version! Anyway 200_pesos makes a good point about change, I think we should all reserve judgement till you use it, but I can see alot of people put off by this. There will be some class games for it, with Nintendo you can pretty much guarantee it, but how will they play with those two contraptions?

I've supported Nintendo since the SNES but I think they're trying to be too innovative this time!

As I said, you don't have to use that controller like that, you can buy a standard one, or do something with that one that makes it more like a normal controller. You're all thick.

I'm with you Cadbury. This reminds me of the arguments between fifa and Pes fans.

I am actually starting to come around to the controller. I found out that it will come with sensors which sit beside your tv. This means it can then be used as a sword, or a tennis racket. I can see this being the way games are going to go, for example the eye-toy. Alright it isn't the best game, Eye-toy: Antigrav had a nice idea of your body as a controller. And there are things like the Gametrack (I think that is the right name) which is the golfing sim with the real club.

By 2010 there won't be controllers just rather fetching jumpsuits with sensors all over them, and then you will realise I am right.

These are first impressions, there are obvious alternatives, we all know that (well I did).

Well I wasn't talking to people like you was I? I was talking to the anti-Nintendo retards who just have the simple idea of "PS3 LOL GTA N PES!" and have no idea what so ever.

People like me?

No worries, I thought you were including me as one of those "thick" people!

This simply requires more physical movement than a normal controller that;s why you dislike it...;) just kidding...but like they said, there will be a controller you connect to the main one, so you can play on a more traditional gamepad. (I don';t mean the oval thing with the stick in the video, i mean something on a cord liek that, that has a full controller at the end.)
