The Online Lag problem

I bought this game the other day despite the negative aspects to it, but I find the online lag to be the worst. However I find playing at peak times where there are a lot of people greatly reduces the chance of playing a full game without being disconnected. When I play off peak early in the morning I am guaranteed a good game 80% of the time. Could it be Konami don't have enough servers to cope with too many people?
