so my i'm using my xbox usb adapted controler. the right analog however does not function. so no stepovers, no roulette, no quick chip...any ideas? its not that urgent as i can score goals through pure passing but still it'd be a nice tool to have.

Depends on what drivers you are using.

For the Xbox controller with USB adapter (not the 360 controller that is) it is best to use the XBCD drivers. Those have their own panel for remaping buttons if needed etc. Since those are tuned to one controller only there is no need to configure it after installing, everything is already setup properly.

If you are using another pad, go to the control panel's game devices section for configuration and calibration. But most controllers these days have their own drivers and configuration panel.

If the stick doesn't work, have you made sure that it is configured in PES? Controller settings enables you to map all buttons yourself, and if the stick can be mapped in there it should work in the game. If it won't be identified at all by PES then the problem is in the drivers or settings for the pad and not PES.

I don't know if this is the case. I have got a Saitek P3000 gamepad, which works fine, is set up in Control Panel OK. I have got Pro Evo 5 on the machine, it's set up perfectly and I have the Right Analogue configured. However with PES6 this hasn't been possible, it just will not recognise the Right Stick.

has anyone sorted this out ? Can't play properly without it.

Thanks,

Chris

Same problem with me, i have tried to copy and paste settings.exe from PES 5 to PES 6 but still doesent work. This is a bug or wrong drivers.

Me too - analogue controller shows working fine in Windows, in PES the right analogue stick is left for left, up for right and nothing for up or down.

It is seeing it as a throttle.

It's not the drivers as its fine in windows, it's PES. Patch?

I agree with nikchris: I have a Thrustmaster FireStorm Dual Analog 3 that worked just fine in PES5. The device is calibrated but the game (the Settings program) doesn't see correctly the right analog mini-stick (it only sees one axis instead of 2).

Bummer.

The PES6 official site has nothing about this kind of problems. I REALLY hope KONAMI will release a patch towards this. For now, in my case, it is not a big deal since the right analog stick is for advanced... stuff, but later, who knows ?

just remap the settings in the pes6 control panel for player1

its like that for lot of controllers, recognising the right stick as a z-axis control instead, who knows what for

Just remap
