i think this game is brilliant i really do, dont get me wrong, the level of play, build up and moves leading to goals is massive, always a new way to score. but then....you finish off a lovely move, with an absolute pile of crap shot to score. For example, not saying i find shooting hard as i score a fair amount but the animations for shooting i just think are useless, too many times does the player do that odd little toe poke or just that one repetetive straight on drive animation, add to this the fact the ball rarely has any movement in the air no bend or curl (when opening the body up to place it you expect it to bend into the far corner, instead its just dead straight and the ball has unrealistic backspin on it!!) it just makes the game look worse, great moves leading to ridiculously robotic finishes. i know you can score some nice goals with bend and curl but for me too few and far between.
i think this game is so close to being great but its small issues like this, and keepers for example that are holding it back, and they are so infuriating that it does spoil the game to a degree.
