I've been reading a lot of conflicting ideas of the new PES game. Some seem to love it while others hate it. Well for the ones who seem to be hating it, if you're like me you re probably used to "WIDE" view which I played for all the PES/Winning Eleven games I could remember. So naturally right when I started playing my PS3 demo I switched to WIDE view. At first it looked like the old WIDE view from the other older games but then I thought I shoudl try the default (LONG) view and to my surprise the game played MUCH MUCH better and the players felt much more responsive. So I decided to put in PES6 to compare and to my surprise the WIDE vew of PES6 was much more similar to the LONG WIDE default view of the new game. WIDE on PES09 seems much further out and while its cool because you see more of the field it makes the game feel restriced and the animation awkward. Has anyone else noticed this? I think the default view is what WIDE used to be thus making the game much more enjoyable and fun to play.

I took some screenshots with my Iphone to compare the 3 views and my thoughts were right.... I'll try to post them later so you guys could see...

on 2008 i always used normal long. my uncle played me and he prefered wide so i thought might aswell and it was soooo slooooww. i guess i was so used to the fast play it felt like slow motion. pes2009 feels a bit slow to me but i cn get used to it

Does no one else have any opinion on the views? Will the full game have different view options for Long or Wide such as zoom in and out? height preferential etc? I played some games with Vertical and its awesome but playing with friends will be a big disadvantage for the person going down IMO....

I would really like to hear peoples opinions on the views of the demo...
Doesnt LONG on the demo feel and look like WIDE of the older PES games while the new WIDE is much wider than before?

I thought the wide cam on 08 was closer than in the previous version now its back to the way it used to be for the better IMO

the game seems more fluid and responsive with long view though. But long is better because u see the field better. Oh the dilema!!

Wide cam is great.. if u prefer more wider view.. go to Screen adjustment in demo, and zoom out ...It really goes more further :)
